I was also involved in sailing on the Baltic and North Sea. It was one international trip: down the Dunabe river from Bratislava, Slovakia to Bucharest, Romania. Then, there were many kayaking expeditions mostly with my brother Piotr, thousands of kilometers down and up rivers and across lakes, many kilometers of land portages, some favorite rivers: Czarna Hancza, Biebrza, Narew, Brda, Wda, Zbrzyca, Drawa, Drweca, Wel, Dunajec. I guess it was book influence (e.g.,"Poland-India by Kayak" by Korabiewicz).
